It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Samuel Gacho Muturo, a distinguished educationist and former Headteacher of Moi Academy and later St. Patrick Primary School, Thika.

He was the beloved father of Carol Gacho, Eric Muturo, and Vivian Wanjiru.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at his residence in Riaini Village, Thuita, Gatanga Constituency, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortège leaves General Kago Road Funeral Home, Thika on Saturday, 18th July 2026 at 9:00am for the funeral service and thereafter burial at his rural home in Riaini Village, Thuita, Kihumbu-ini Ward, Gatanga Constituency, Murang'a County.
